OUR YUBA-SUTTER COMMUNITY MAGAZINE aspires to reflect
the ambitious soul of a small community.
We Yuba-Sutterites
are diverse in our passions but unified in our ability to succeed—and do it with style. We are artists, writers, realtors, engineers, business owners and professionals of all types, bucking the so-called “recession” and giving the world every reason to be inspired.
Thousands of people move to Yuba-Sutter every year, often from larger communities. Many bring with them a culture of creativity, an attitude of affluence and the financial leverage to continue on a prosperous path.
From 2007 to 2008, Yuba and Sutter counties experienced an increase in population of nearly 3,000. (Source: The Yuba-Sutter Economic Development Corporation). In turn, the business community has responded with an outpouring of new restaurants, theatres, shops and residential developments. The influx of professional people, the increased activity in local arts and entertainment and the diversity of business all indicate growth worth planning for and investing in.
